About Us
WISDOM 3 Background
Martin Guice is the President and founder of Wisdom 3 Consulting, Inc. and he has been improving business performance for over three decades with such companies as BellSouth, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and DayStar Communications.
In 2001, he founded Wisdom 3 Consulting based upon a set of management practices that work together in a systems fashion to produce phenomenal financial results. Some of these same practices have been successfully used by companies worldwide, across many industries.
From these successful practices, Guice has created, applied and improved a High Performance Management System (HPMS). The system, which took over 10 years to develop, is flexible and scalable as it can help practically any small- or medium-sized business improve their financial performance by up to 40%.
While at BellSouth, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and two local companies, he had a lot of excellent training and relevant experience in results improvement while moving through the ranks in sales, marketing, information technology, operations, strategy development, service quality and performance improvement. HPMS is based upon this training, years of experience, the Baldrige Quality Criteria and other business resources.
While implementing the HPMS for a telecommunications client, the effort resulted in a 35% improvement in EBITDA. (EBITDA is used to evaluate a company's profitability and is the acronym for Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization.) Further, while serving that client, they significantly increased sales results by applying process improvement and new measurements, other than the usual revenue and quota attainment measurements. The HPMS can make a difference for many small- and medium-sized businesses regarding their survival during these challenging economic times.
Mr. Guice is also immediate past Chairman of the Board of Suncoast Technology Forum, a non-profit corporation and membership organization that seeks to accelerate the technology economy in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Efforts by this organization contribute to promoting success of existing technology companies in the two-county area plus attracting new tech-based companies to the area - thereby helping to diversify the economy in the Gulf Coast region.
